Tim Power has been practicing law in the Kingwood/Humble area since 1982 when he received a Doctor of Jurisprudence from The University of Houston. Mr. Power is licensed to practice law in the State and Federal Courts of Texas. In 1997 he established The Power Law Firm, P.C., in Humble, Texas as a full service law firm providing services in all areas of law, including referrals to sources for specialized areas of practice.
Mr. Power is a third generation Houstonian and moved to Kingwood, Texas in 1975 with his family from Australia where his father had been a missionary. Mr. Power graduated from Harding College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1979.
Dawn R. Deville joined the Power Law Firm as a paralegal in January 2015. She is currently working on obtaining her nationally accredited NALA certification. Dawn has previously worked as a paralegal for 23 years in the areas of family law, with a heavy concentration in family law, probate, estate planning, business planning and civil litigation. She has also participated in and assisted with numerous trials. She has quickly shown her value to the firm and the clients she serves by accurately and efficiently managing deadlines, billing, document production and trial preparation readiness. Her professional demeanor and tenacious work ethic make a her a tireless advocate for our clients and firm.
Away from the office Dawn enjoys the outdoors, swimming, jogging, church, and her dogs.
Melissa I. Bravo joined the Power Law Firm as a receptionist in August 2014 after having worked retail for many years. She quickly showed her ability to learn and adapt in a fast paced environment, coupled with her customer service skills, and quickly moved to a Legal Secretary position with the firm within six months. Her attention to detail for details, infused with her professionalism, and kindness make her a vital part of the team at the Power LawFirm. Melissa is also a great assistance to our bi-lingual clients. Melissa is currently obtaining her Bachelor’s Decree in Fine Arts.
Away from the office she enjoys charity work, church, family and her love of animals.
